Our News

The Festival of Trees is the area's longest-running holiday event and is the largest fundraiser for the Kootenai Health Foundation. We were fortunate to have had a successful festival in 2020, in spite of the fact that the pandemic forced us to transition to a virtual event. Due to the continued surge in COVID-19 cases in our region, we are going to once again host our event virtually and look forward to celebrating with our community in a similar platform on Saturday, November 27th! This year, our fundraising efforts will focus on enhancing our state-of-the-art Neuroscience program. To purchase tickets or learn more information go to kh.org/festival or call Kootenai Health Foundation at 208-625-4438.

The two new cutting-edge pieces of equipment that we are raising funds for will enhance the capabilities of our neurosurgeons and provide the highest quality care close to home. The Cranial Navigation is a guided visual technology that allows surgeons to see structures in greater detail so they can operate with the utmost precision. The Kinevo Microscope provides greater visual acuity with state-of-the-art function. This equipment combines optical and digital visualization for precise instrumentation placement.
